We want everyone to be able to use PrivacyStack, including people using a screen reader, keyboard only navigation, or a browser zoomed in.
Our standard
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. That includes semantic HTML, a visible focus state on every interactive element, color contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 for body text, labeled form fields, and a logical heading structure on every page.
What we do
- Every icon that carries meaning has a text label or an accessible name.
- Every image has descriptive alt text, or is marked decorative when it carries no information.
- Motion and animation respect your operating system's reduced motion setting.
- Every touch target is at least 44 pixels so the site works on a phone.
Known limitations
We are still testing some interactive tools with assistive technology and will update this page as we complete that work.
